Bali trip - Day 4

We started our 4th day in Bali early in the morning, waking up at 5am, got ready at the beach side of our hotel at 6am. It was a lovely cooling morning, the waves were not strong, good for us to go for Dolphin watching.

This about an hour session of dolphin watching cost us Rp 60k per pax, return boat ride included.

It was really worth! We saw alot of happily swimming dolphins there!

The row of simple-modified motorboats were ready in the morning, to bring tourists like us out into the sea to meet lovely dolphins!

my boat-mates, say Cheese!

The time while the sun rising is the best time to watch dolphins as groups of them would usually gather into the area at this hour.

The dolphins! leading in front of us

Lai Yin's ABC, or Do-Re-Mi

Very beautiful sunrise at the seaside.

Lai Yin's fish'n'chip!

The sky has already became so bright by the end of the dolphin watching session

Heading back to our hotel after satisfaction from dolphin watching

This boatman was very expert at getting us closer to the dolphins, so that I was able to take alot close up photos and videos of the dolphins. So we tipped him off generously afterwards and had a photo with him.

After the Dolphin Watching, we had our breakfast at the hotel before we checked out and headed for the Menjangan Island Snorkelling, which cost us Rp 90k per pax (snorkelling equipments - snorkel mask, fins, life jackets, boat rides, lunch box and return minibus fetching included). Menjangan Island was about 30minutes boat ride from the jetty, and the jetty was about an hour drive in the minibus from our hotel in Lovina.

Lai Yin had been really lucky throughout the trip. Me and Lai Yin even accidentally found a piece of Rp 5000 note under the sea, while we were snorkelling nearby the Menjangan Island.
Actually we became bored after snorkelled awhile in the sea, and we started to look for something else instead of the fishes and corals, haha, and then we found the note!

The sun setting from top of the hill.

We were heading down the hill in our minibus that time, everybody were snoring away already.

Another branch of Krisna, located just opposite the Warung Mina, we did a brief shopping there as well, so buy some local souvenirs to be brought back to Malaysia.

This is the Warung Mina, where we had our seafood dinner for the day. I think ones who visit Bali must have a try here. The price is cheap, the choices of seafood served are attracting but you have to at least have a high tolerance for hot-and-spicy.

The menu

A very nice and comfortable interior of a Balinese Restaurant, although there were numerous mosquitoes attacking me!

An over salty tom-yum-gung-like vegetable soup.

Don't forget to try the Avocado juice in Bali, Avocado is also one of the famous local fruits in Bali.

This well served a 4 person portions. 3 different fish, with different sauces, comes with grilled brinjals, tofu, tempe, and vegetables.

This one tasted the best for me, the fish meat was fresh and crispy fried.

And this called our day off!
