North Borneo - Sabah Trip (Day 3)

Waking up early on the next morning in Sandakan, we went to the fresh seafood market in the old town. Those seafood were sent to the market by fisherman/ boatman early in the morning after catching, so most of them were very fresh and cheap.

And here is where we had our breakfast.

Lots of locals and non-locals came very far to this restaurant to have a taste of their famous century egg dumplings....

Century egg dumplings in noodle soup / dried noodle 皮蛋饺

The dumpling was made of minced pork meat which wrapping a thick layer of century egg in the middle.

Cow dung tart 牛屎挞 - a tart topped with egg white puff and butter cream.

One must also not miss to visit the Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre while visiting Sandakan.

We were too late for the feeding time of Orang Utan at Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre, missed the chance of meeting Orang Utan.

Did not see the real Orang Utan, make up by this stuffed-toy Orang Utan...

Rainforest Discovery Centre 大自然 - is a newly established recreation centre cum rainforest preservation centre located just nearby Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre.

It is a good place to do exercise in the morning, weekends outings/picnic, teaching outside of school, etc....

The Timpohon entrance of Mt Kinabalu Nature Park

It was very very cloudy day...

There were alot of squirrels looking for food around the rubbish bin...

Those squirrels were all very alert and fast, once they caught me shooting, they would just dart away.

At the Muzium of Mt Kinabalu, there are these 2 safety locker, named Time Capsule by Tun Dr. Mahathir, our former Prime Minister, to be open only on 1st of October 2020...

Along the way up and down the mountain, there were alot beautiful wild flowers...
very nice scenery awaiting especially sunrise/ sunset.

YoYo Cafe - selling a wide range of bubble milk teas. They are having promotion of getting free butter croissant with purchase of bubble milk teas.
