7 Spice Indian Restaurant

Location: Danga Street, Johor Bahru (just beside Clark Hatch Fitness Center)
The interior of the restaurant. very well renovated for an Indian restaurant, ambient environment, air-conditioned, nice tables n chairs. All the workers wore in blacks.

7 Spice - A banana leaf's miracle.... there are quite a number of ala carte cooked with the special house 7 spices.... chef recommended as well.

Everybody gets a large piece of banana leaf to lay the food on.

papatum - RM1 for 5 pieces

the chef recommended "7 spice chicken" - RM 8
~ 5 large chunks of chicken meat, in curry gravy of mixed onions, tomatoes, spices, chillies, etc. Mixture of sour, sweet taste. Degree of hot = 1/5. very nice try.

Kashmiri naan - RM 3
~ crispy baked naan topped with mixed fruit and raisins, sweet taste based.

Bryani rice - RM3 per bowl.
~ very richly spiced, with chunks of chicken meat in there, which usually we don't find in other restaurant at this price.

Daal curry - FOC upon request, hehehe... the Daal beans were all cooked to soft and thick. degree of hot = 1/5

Butter chicken masala - RM13
~ slices of chicken meats in tomato-riched butter sauce with spices. Degree of hot = 1/5. a bit more hot will better for an indian cuisine, rite?

Aloo gobi - RM 10
~ sauteed potatoes and cauliflower in spices. Degree of hot = 3/5. Good choice of side dish to eat with meat....

Fish tikka masala - RM14
~ The hottest of all that we ordered that night. Degree of hot = 5/5.... 4 pieces of large chunks of very fresh fish meat... actually i like it best.

** glasses of plain water FOC as well.
** Prices are all nett, no extra service charge and government tax applied in ur bill!
