My Visionary Board 2009

· To graduate with flying colors!
· To accomplish the veterinary acupuncture course!
· To have the perfect body figure like Jessica Alba!
· To own a Mazda 6!

It's year 2009. I've made myself a visionary board and listed out what I must achieve in the future..... First I must visualize what I want, then proceed and put in effort to have them realized!

My lovely sylvanian families!

Then slowly slide it open!

The dining room, the children are having party at home!

New addition of my collection - Ice cream wagon! with silk cat family doing the business.
And the house lights are on!

More new range available in the toy shop but cannot afford to purchase all at a moment.... sob sob...

How to get there:

a) Riding The Peak Tram is the quickest way to arrive at The Peak from the MTR in Central or by public transportation. Go to the J2 exit of the Central MTR station, turn right, through Chater Garden, cross Queen's Road Central and make your way up Garden Road. You will pass the Bank of China Tower and Citibank Plaza on your left and St John's Cathedral on your right before arriving at the terminus, which is to your left.

Peak Tram Operating Hours : 7 am to 12 midnight(Mon - Sun & Public Holidays)

Frequency : Departs every 10 to 15 minutes

b) By Bus

--> Route No. 15 from Central Pier 5 to The Peak

Daily : 10:15 am to 12:15 am(from Man Kwong Street outside Central(Pier 5)
Daily : 9:10 am to 1:00 am(from The Peak)

Frequency : 7 to 15 minutes

Location: Level P1 of the Peak Tower

Opening Hours : 10:00am - 10:00pm (Mon - Sun & Public Holidays)

Admission Fee : Adult - HK$ 150 ; Child (age 3 - 11) Senior (age 65 or above) - HK$ 80

p.s./ it's quite a boring and expensive place to visit, yet every one who visits Hong Kong has to come here....

Hou Choi Seafood Restaurant 好彩海鲜楼

Location: Yau Ma Tei 油麻地觀塘觀塘道 388 號創紀之城 1期 5樓

We spent about HKD300 for 5 pax.... eat until tummy bloated.

We went for DimSum only.

Nice braised chicken feet and prawn dumplings!

Juicy soft Char Siew bun, but the char siew only a little....

All fried-snacks also tasted better than Malaysia's Dimsum.... Clock-wise: fried wanton, fried beancurb wraps, fried glutinous puff (contained peanut paste), roasted char siew puff

Sago milk with blended mango and pomelo, yummy!

Steamed spare ribs, glutinous rice in lotus leaves and Siew Mai

- Siew mai not nice, but glutinous rice very nice!! yummy

the so so only Cheung Fun....

century egg pork porridge, smooth and cooked to the fullness, ichiban!

location: IFC of Hong Kong, 4th floor.

Wanton noodle soup 云吞面

- wantons were at the bottom of the bowl, this is the traditional way the Hongkies have their wanton noodle.

- the small bowl of noodle was very big already, and the big bowl was also available!

Pork porridge 瘦肉粥

- taste so-so.

Dried wanton noodle 云吞捞面

- this is really really alot different from what we always have here. The dried wanton noodle was just served with a big spoonful of oyster sauce and a bowl of soup at side....

Shrimps Hor Fun 滑蛋河

- oh, this was really smooth with egg stirred in the gravy.

Fried you tiao cheong fun 炸两肠粉

- the best fried you tiao cheong fun I've ever had was in Shang Hai, and until now, no one has beaten it yet. so was this.

Special fried beancurd 特制炸豆腐

- a must-try, very special taste, simple soft beancurd was deep fried and to be dipped in the special made sauce... yummy

This meal cost about HKD400

King of Roasted Goose 镛记

the roasted goose, crispy on the outside, tender juicy inside. HKD320 per whole goose. most probably the only nice thing ever in this restaurant.

and then........

the rest dishes of this restaurant were just really so-so, not fitted to the standard of this high-class restaurant. Some more this meal had cost us HKD1400, really not worth it!!! the most disappointing meal we had in HongKong overall.

what a so called award winning prawns, we did not find any special from it. HKD 160

another cheap stuff at high cost. HKD 48

a very ordinary fried spare-ribs which can be found anywhere in the hot market also....

Service standard was good. Other than that, was that all they've got? Why is it always still full of crowds? And must make reservation before going? What are people's tongue made of? (puked)
