The windows of each chalets, all facing out to the amazing Lake Tekapo, no one wakes up without a good mood looking out there.
The reception lobby and restaurant of the Pepper's, as if a floating structure on the small man-man lake.
It was freezing cold, -4C in the morning, still taking photos out there without wearing gloves can kill our fingers!
Sun rising at Lake Tekapo
Church of the good shepherd
Poor our transport was covered with frost over the night, and it needed 20minutes warm up to melt the frost from windows before starting off road.
There was this statue of a dog standing not far away from the Church of Good Shepherd.
A mini skii club at Lake Takepo, it has a hot spring as well.
This is a motel for campers and caravan.
It was all hills and mountains covered with ice, the road was straight most of the time, unlike the road where we came from Christchurch to Lake Tekapo -- it was very wavy and slopey.
The hotel that we checked in was St Moritz Hotel at Queenstown. We stayed 2 nights over there.

There was 2 computers available for internet, charging at NZD$6 per half hour or NZD$11 per hour usage of internet. I wonder why is internet access so expensive at New Zealand. We have free wifi access everywhere in Malaysia!
Our accomodation was actually a suite which had 2 rooms interconnecting with a kitchen equipped with all facilities we needed, 1 bathroom each attached to a bedroom, dining table, living room, just like a home.
Bedroom 1
Bathroom 2
McDonald is what we must visit whenever we visit other countries! You will find McDonald is serving some slight different menu and taste.
This is what we do not have in Malaysia and it tasted superb!
Basically, Queenstown, although it is one of the biggest town in South Island of New Zealand, there were only a few streets making up the centre of Queenstown. Most shops are selling sourvenirs, restaurants and skii equipments. It is not a place of shoppers, even the LV is the only one here, so lonely and quiet.
