Rio Branco Cafe

Location: 02, Jalan Setia Tropika 1/1, Taman Setia Tropika, Johor Bahru

The interior of the cafe, there were grayscale photos hanging all around the wall

The overall concept of this cafe is not bad. However what disappoint us is that, there were only 2 choices out of 8 homemade cheesecakes available that night when we were visiting.

We made a trip to this cafe all because attracted by their homemade cheesecake.

But this trip really had disappointed us.

The menu in hard cover

Fried onion rings -- so so commercial frozen onion rings

Carbonara pasta - good.

Raisin Cheesecake - just an ordinary cheesecake available from any cakehouse, only 2 raisin in a cake T_T

Mango Cheesecake -- the upper layer of this cheesecake is actually mango mousse, the cheesecake was the very thin layer at bottom and the cracker crumble at the bottomost layer.

I would give a Not Bad to this cheesecake but it's still "you can get this anywhere"

Butter Grilled Salmon Steak - this is good too. A thick piece of salmon grilled just perfectly right, crispy at outer layer, soft and medium cooked in the middle -- keeping the juicy of salmon in within. Thumbs up for this.

Long Island Iced Coffee

When you say this is a cafe, which emphasized on the coffee it serves, I would not be very much satisfied by these coffee we had.

Iced Cappucino

Overall, there will not be a second visit by me and friends.
