(1) Potato Salad --> other choices such as Caesar salad, prawn salad, chicken salad...
~ mashed and cubes of potato in cream cheese, lettuce, cabbage, ham, bacon shreds and a tinge of lemon. Yummy!
Then you can choose 2 mini serving pasta from 10 choices.

Salmon Tomato Cheese --> Macaroni in tomato sauce topped with oven baked crispy cheddar+mozzarella cheese. YUMMY!


Seppia Nero --> Spaghetti in black squid ink sauce together tender juicy fresh mini squid. It tastes so great! But be aware that ur teeth would get stained all black eating it!! haha. MUST TRY!


Uni Sauce Spaghetti (SGD14.90)
~ In normal serving portion (ala-carte). Don't ever try it, not tasty at all....

7 Spice Indian Restaurant

Location: Danga Street, Johor Bahru (just beside Clark Hatch Fitness Center)
The interior of the restaurant. very well renovated for an Indian restaurant, ambient environment, air-conditioned, nice tables n chairs. All the workers wore in blacks.

7 Spice - A banana leaf's miracle.... there are quite a number of ala carte cooked with the special house 7 spices.... chef recommended as well.


Everybody gets a large piece of banana leaf to lay the food on.


papatum - RM1 for 5 pieces



the chef recommended "7 spice chicken" - RM 8
~ 5 large chunks of chicken meat, in curry gravy of mixed onions, tomatoes, spices, chillies, etc. Mixture of sour, sweet taste. Degree of hot = 1/5. very nice try.



Kashmiri naan - RM 3
~ crispy baked naan topped with mixed fruit and raisins, sweet taste based.


Bryani rice - RM3 per bowl.
~ very richly spiced, with chunks of chicken meat in there, which usually we don't find in other restaurant at this price.


Daal curry - FOC upon request, hehehe... the Daal beans were all cooked to soft and thick. degree of hot = 1/5


Butter chicken masala - RM13
~ slices of chicken meats in tomato-riched butter sauce with spices. Degree of hot = 1/5. a bit more hot will better for an indian cuisine, rite?


Aloo gobi - RM 10
~ sauteed potatoes and cauliflower in spices. Degree of hot = 3/5. Good choice of side dish to eat with meat....


Fish tikka masala - RM14
~ The hottest of all that we ordered that night. Degree of hot = 5/5.... 4 pieces of large chunks of very fresh fish meat... actually i like it best.

Kee Hiang Bak Kut Teh

Location: Taman Eng Ann, Klang.


Local people in Klang will always bring their own tea bag to the bak kut teh restaurant. There will always be self-service boiling hot water available around in these restaurants.

this restaurant is one which every local Klang ppl also knows about and will always visit.

a claypot full of pig big bone, taufu pei, china cabbage, button mushroom and some pig skin.
can actually choose among pig big bone, belly pork, or pork ribs to be served in the pot...

first time i ever tasted a dried bak kut teh. Don't know who invented it, totally lost the real meaning of bak kut teh.... haiz... no interest in trying the second time.

bak kut teh must never go with out yau char kuih...

this restaurant serves white rice with a bit fried onion to make the rice more fragrant. Too bad, they don't have my favorite yam rice here...sob sob....

《小王子》 - onionhead 番外篇


《小王子》a.k.a. 《Le Petit Prince》是我从小到大最爱看的书之一。 虽说是一本童话故事书, 是写给小孩子们看的, 可是对于我来说是一本不论在任何年龄阶层都该看一回的书。 我每不久都会重看一遍这本书, 很奇妙地, 每一次的阅读都会把我的思想深深地吸引过去, 因为我每一次都总感觉自己对书里对奇妙的世界的描述有新的体会。 说是多姿多彩的童话世界, 但其实又很讽刺即幽默的带出成人乏味的世界。 所以,即使现在长大了也还是该再阅读这本书, 让自己不会随着成长忘了最简单纯真的快乐。




以下纯属虚构, onionhead 的幻想。。。。。。

在小王子来到地球的撒哈拉沙漠上遇见Antoine de Saint-Exupery之前, 他曾经到过月球。

这个月球比起小王子之前到过的小星星要大上好几十倍, 但是却除了一片凹凸不平、灰灰黄黄的土地外, 就什么都没有了。 灰暗的天空, 他感觉好冰冷。

从月球上可以清楚看见地球, 就如之前遇过的地理学家所说的, 地球真的好大, 还可以看见地球上有好大一片蔚蓝色的海洋, 蜿蜒的山脉。

小王子继续往前走, 直到他看见一片花圃。 这片花圃的正中间里有一位身穿笔挺西装的绅士呆坐在一张小小的凳子上, 眼神哀伤烦恼地望着地上一朵朵已枯萎了的花朵。

这一片花圃中只种了一种花, 是一种只有五枚花瓣的花。

小王子心里骄傲地想着:“虽然这些花朵的颜色五彩缤纷, 但比起我的星星上的那一朵花还差得远呢!”

但小王子同时又开始担心自己那骄傲又孤独的花, 没有了自己的照顾, 会不会也枯萎了呢。。。 真懊恼自己当初不该闹别扭出走, 抛下心爱的花。

小王子好奇地走上前去, 问:

“ 这些花怎么都枯萎了呀?”

绅士叹了一口气, 语带哀伤说:

“ 这月球每天二十四小时只顾着绕着地球转, 根本看不见太阳, 我的花没有了温暖的阳光全都枯萎了。。。 ”

“你种那么多花是干什么呀?”

“在月球上头的每一颗闪耀的星星上都住着一位长发披肩的少女, 她们每一位都婀娜多姿, 深深地吸引着我。”

绅士一面答, 一面像是陶醉在自己的幻想当中, 脸上的哀伤顿时消失了, 嘴角还露出了甜蜜的微笑, 接着又说,

“ 我想种这些花朵给她们每人送一朵表达我的心意。”

说完, 绅士又一瞬间感到哀伤起来, 自顾自的又望着花圃叹气。

看着花圃里的几百多小花, 小王子心想这绅士的心意还真多呢!

“ 那你为什么不离开月球到上面其中一个可以看到太阳的星星上去种花?”

绅士没有马上回答, 只是自言自语地呢喃着,

“这该怎么办? 我的心意该怎么转达。。。”

“ 你为什么不到其他星星上去种花?” 小王子重复地问, 他一旦提出了一个问题, 是绝对不会放弃的。

“ 我还不清楚自己最喜欢哪一颗星星上的少女, 我不知道该到哪颗星星上去呀!”

接着绅士像被小王子这么一个提问, 对自己也产生了一个新的疑问。 双手抓着脑袋瓜上的头发, 继续不停地喃喃自语:

“ 哪颗星星比较好啊?”

小王子摇摇头, 大人们总是这样, 三心二意又贪心, 根本不知道自己想要的是什么。 小王子心里单纯地只喜欢他那颗星星上的唯一一朵花。

很快地, 小王子离开了月球, 因为月球上看不见他喜欢的日落。

其实我也觉得自己有时就像月球一心一意只绕着地球-- 不变定律, 事实上是与太阳永远相隔, 而同时又被众多星星围绕着, 有时觉得有些距离, 有时觉得是自己不知道要那颗星, 又不舍得放弃当月球, 以为绕着地球就会有一天触摸得到地球。
